I will record 8 hours of video on my counter top DVD recorder and want 50 seconds of it. With DVD Remaker the complete DVD does not load into the computer which would take hours. All I see is a string of frames from the video with the time line. If the 50 seconds I want is at the end of the 5th hour. I can play at that point, find the clip and save only the 50 seconds I want. Of the several programs I have tried this is the only program that does not load the whole DVD into memory before editing.

STAY AWAY FROM THE CONVERTOR part of this package IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE WITH ITUNES. I paid my money, and now find out that the .mp4 output from this software conversion IS NOT COMPATIBLE with ITUNES. you must use their own synch program to get the video on there, which will be a problem if you are managing Videos with ITUNES. It also Is Excruciatingly slow. I moved a movie (about 1.5 Hours movie) to .mp4 and it took over 12 hours to "convert". Caveat emptor
