This is a simple and very handy little app that cleans house nicely. My OS (W2k) was behaving strangely despite regular cleaning with Spybot and Adaware and with Zonealarm watching the door, so I downloaded a-squared free.
Sure enough, a disc scan found a lot of pernicious vermin, and gave me the option to delete or quarantine. Back to normal now.
